This week’s In Their Home is just a wee bit different because I stumbled across a studio space that just had me wanting to drop by and say hello. The Company is called Fuzzco and it is a studio where designers & programmers ” improve the quality of life for their clients”. I found the whole place, inside and out to be completely inspiring. Not to mention they have a great sample of work to share. See more office shots HERE of peruse their portfolio HERE.

I’m really excited to share with you the home of Elvera from Elv’s Blog. I don’t remember how I found her blog, but ever since I did I’v been a frequent visitor collecting inspiration for my home. She considers herself an interior design junkie and lover of Scandinavian design. Just like myself she feels like she is always transforming her home and taking pictures along the way. I highly recommend you take a little gander over to her space and check out all the black and white details!

OMG you guys. Dabito of Old Brand New has done it again. I can’t tell you how much I love this man’s blog and interior space. He’s a lover of collected items just like myself and his home is a beautiful display of thrifted/flea market love. I’m completely jealous that he lives in LA and has access to one of the best Flea Markets in the US, The Rosebowl Flea. Several months ago I featured Dabito’s home but he has since moved and all these photos are snapshots of his new home and all the lovely corners. I could go on forever about this, so I’ll stop myself before I become a rambling mess.

I’m excited to be back to my normal blogging routine with a new In Their Home feature. Today I am switching things up a bit and showing some snippets of Karen Barbe’s studio space. Karen just happens to be among my favorite textile designers (from Chile) and her visual aesthetic is so pleasing. Karen’s specialty is creating one of a kind pieces with her unique screen-printed,woven and embroidered textiles for the home.

If you haven’t already stopped by her blog and website, please do (links below). Thank you Karen for sharing some of the corners of your studio!

  7. In Their Home // KITKA

I’ve been reading through the archives of one of my new favorite blogs called KITKA (a design blog / lifestyle blog). The blog is run by two very talented designers, Juli & John. The couple live in a “renovation project” apartment situated above their shop in The Junction neighborhood of Toronto. I’m actually pretty jealous of the whole work/live setup they’ve got going on. Their blog is filled with sneak peeks of the home renovation, scenes from around Toronto, snippets for weekend trips to their cottage, and captured moments from vacations. Stop by and make sure you have an hour or so to look around. Their blog is like one gigantic rabbit hole of greatness!

Here we are again. Sharing some more photos from Katie Stratton’s (Katie’s Pencil Box) home. Part 1 was shown yesterday and because I’m feeling indecisive, I had to show all photos. Look at the details people! The paintings, wall paper, little knick knacks….so great. I hope all of you are as inspired from her space as I am. I see a black wall in my future and a lot of de-cluttering about to happen.

Don’t forget to stop by Katie’s blog and send some sweet baby wishes her way. Isn’t she the cutest! Can you imagine what that babe’s room is going to look like? Ahhh!

I love everything about this space, so much that I couldn’t narrow down the images she provided me. That means that you get some more amazingness tomorrow in Part 2! Stay tuned.

This week’s In Their Home post is just a bit different in that it doesn’t feature the living space of a blogger in my daily reads list. But that’s ok folks, because this space is pretty darn inspiring and really showcases the work/style of the individuals who live there. This home & interview was shown on Freunde von Freunden so stop by to see more photos and the actual interview with both artists.
