1. Lived in

I spend entirely too much time searching the internet for inspiring home interiors. Interiors have nothing to do with my day job, no my freelance jobs, but I’m always making time to keep looking (maybe it’s because I don’t spend my days living and breathing interiors as a “interior designer”  or “stylist” would. Whatever the reason, I love it…and I especially love to see a beautifully photographed home that isn’t stage/styled. It’s nice to see the untouched signs of everyday life ( unperfect stacks of books, scribbles on a wall,  or even a grumpy face).

This finland family home is the perfect combination of beautiful photography (by Riikka Kantinkoski) and a lived in concept (concepted by Mirja Karjula)

I’m in the process of trying to buy my first house (which is terribly exciting, frustrating, and scary) and I can’t seem to get enough of scouring the internet for pretty pictures of beautiful interiors. Thanks for sharing these ones! It’s nice to see interiors that are both beautiful and honestly lived in (as you say), it makes me feel better about my own home…or my potential future house.
