Brand Design Photography & Styling Clarity Consulting

Inspired By: Nanushka

I don’t usually post about fashion items, but when I see something that stops me in my tracks, I just gotta share. I stumbled upon Nanushka clothing company via one of my favorite blogs, Spell & Gypsy Collective. Nanushka’s pieces are so artistic and textural, they are stunning.

If you have some spare time, check out Nanushka and if you need a new blog, check out Spell & Gypsy Collective

  1. Love these above pieces. I’ve been following you for a few months now and I gotta say that I love your style. I think more then loving your style I love how consistent it is. Like, I totally know what kind of things you are attracted to and it’s great seeing different elements from fashion to nature, photography, design and styling come together so carefully curated on this blog. Although it’s consistent it’s definitely not boring! I feel like I am still very much trying to find “my style” as I am still attracted to so many different things. A little jealous but also very exciting about how your blog is consistently growing and reflecting YOU.

    1. Hi Alicia,
Thanks so much for stopping by. You’ve given me the highest of compliments and I’m blushing 😉

You make an interesting point- that you’re still trying to find your style. I will have to confess that “my style” is really all over the place and ever changing. I’ve been trying really hard to not share EVERYTHING that inspires me, but only those things that I feel build my visual brand. I think styles are supposed to be a wide range of things. I think the key is to know what to share, and what to keep to yourself.

I think I might have to do a blog post about this topic. I find it super interesting. Thanks again for stopping by and chiming in.

    2. That is a great point: knowing what to share and what to keep to yourself. If you were a brand selling products you would probably do the same. Although you’d be inspired by 10 different things you may only post the ones that you feel like represent your product.
As designers we are brands too and should have the same mindset.
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately of what some of my dream projects may be, what is there design wise that I want to work on? What styles, what sorts of products. Blogging and focusing on those different things will only help attract those clients.
Besides your blog my one other favorite blog in the category of “carefully curated” is A Merry Mishaps. It’s just so perfect.
