I know this is a completely random post about film, but oh well. You’ll get some of those here and there ;) Just recently in 2011, the cinema has tried to resurrect Marilyn Monroe with a film called “My Week with Marilyn”. I’ve watched the trailer via iTunes too many times to count, but have yet to see it in theater. My gut is telling me that the boyfriend is going to make me wait until it releases to rental.

In my opinion Michelle Williams was the perfect choice for this role. I can’t wait to see how it is. Have any of you seen it yet?

I did see it and it was stunning. Just beautiful. I recommend seeing it in the theater so you fall in love with the light, color, sets, clothes. When it comes to Marilyn, I would say bigger is better ;)

I have. It’s very well done. I’m not a big fan of biopics, but it’s very convincing and Michelle Williams was spot on. Round up a female friend and go and watch it anyway :)

i’ve been a Marilyn fan since high school and this looks to be the best portrayal of her yet.

I haven’t seen it, but I think Michelle Williams is an amazing performer and I’m sure she was the best person for the role. I can’t wait to see it when it releases to film!

I totally have a blog post about this next week. :) I saw it last weekend and it was gorgeous. It’s sad, but so beautiful… Michelle Williams will take your breath away. She has Marilyn’s mannerisms down so well, and the entire cast was wonderful. I wouldn’t be surprised if she won some major awards for this role!
