  1. It is not a memory – but I fell in love with Tenerife last year. I would like to live there in my future.. It is a friendly island with the best coffee I’ve ever had!!! I can recommend Tenerife as one of the best holiday places! Believe me=)

    Greetings from Czech Rep.,
    Iva.

  2. My favorite summer memory so far is the last long bike ride my fella and I took on the Katy Trail and stopping for a picnic near a farm field along the way. It was such a simple fun time, the best kind. 🙂

  3. I was just reading your DIY! so cute. I’ve been thinking of doing this for a duvet cover for my son, but have not committed. You’ve totally re-inspired me! Best summer memory so far… teaching my little love how to swim.

  4. My favorite summer memory would have to be the summers that my whole family would go on vacation. We would all get together and go to the beach or somewhere fun. I always remeber having a great time and playing lots of fun board games. I am glad this next summer we are bringing this tradition back and going to the lake!! I can’t wait for next summer!

This is a great giveaway– Thank you!

  5. The past 8 days have been absolutely amazing: two outdoor concerts, a bicycle festival, swimming in the lake by my house, box seats at the Orchestra Hall, running into an old friend I haven’t seen in 7 years and I won a New Belgium Fat Tire cruiser!

    I love the fabric design!

  6. So pretty! My favorite memory so far this summer has probably been my baby sister’s wedding! Oh and also, my BFF came to visit & the midnight showing of the last *tear* Harry Potter!!

  7. This is probably pretty lame, but my best summer memory so far was successfully completing the GRE!

  8. I follow you on bloglovin too! Oh, and my favorite summer memory would have to be 4th of July – love the parades and wonderful grilled food and of course, fireworks!

  9. Oh my favourite summer memory so far would be my wedding day – June 25th! Everything was perfect and I got to marry my best friend. I couldn’t have asked for a happier day ^_^

  10. My favorite summer memory (from a long, long time ago ) is playing “kick the can” in the dark until being called in for a bath, then doning my babydoll pajamas and climbing into the cool sheets on my bed and drifting off to dreamland. Loved the tutorial, I’ve done a lot of block printing, but never on fabric, it will happen soon. Thanks.

  11. My favorite summer memory so far would have to be traveling home to see family in NJ. The kids hadn’t met a some of their cousins so this was great getting everyone together.

  12. My favorite summer memory so far was revisiting the Stone Mountain Laser Show (a very cheesy summertime light and fireworks show in Georgia), where I celebrated several birthdays as a child. This birthday was 26, but it was just as fun and goofy as ever!

  13. My favorite memory is visiting my folks and having a huge Fourth of July bash! Complete with cotton candy and snow cone machine!

But I have a feeling that once I finish my two big projects for the summer, that will be my new favorite memory!

Project Number 1: Repainting a Hoosier cabinet.
Project Number 2: Refinishing a antique buffet so I finally have a place for my china!

But in any case, my summer has been wonderful so far! And finding your blog has made it even better!

  14. My favorite summer memory would have to be our XC team’s 24 hour relay – 24 hours of hanging out and running on our track. The rest of the summer has been spent working at my first real job.

  15. My favorite summer memory was surprising my dad on his birthday in Chicago! We worked hard to keep it a secret, until the day I flew in and surprised him during a coffee break. 🙂

  16. And, comment #2, I now follow you via Bloglovin’… so into your style and this cute DIY. My roommate bought me a stamp-making kit for Christmas I’ve been too scared to work with until now. This is just the creative inspiration I needed.

    Thanks! <3
